The London SciComm Socials are a great place for the vibrant London science communication community to meet up, share ideas and forge new connections.
Following the lead of our friends in Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and across the UK we thought it might be fun to have an open pub evening for anyone from the science communication world to meet up.
We organise regular pub socials across London, but if that isn’t your thing we also meet up for walks and coffee mornings, organise training sessions, networking events, and our annual London SciComm Symposium.
On Thursday 27th June 2019 we are bringing together a set of exciting, challenging speakers, and providing a chance for people across the sector to share their work and ideas, and to network.
On Monday 25th June 2019 London SciComm Socials co-creator Kimberley Freeman is hosting an introductory session all about evaluating public engagement.
On Thursday 27th June, following the London SciComm Symposium, we’re holding a bumper SciComm Social at The Victoria, Mile End, so come join us to discuss either what you heard or learn what the big topics of the day were from those that did.
